The inferno dragon is extremely tough to play, as it is extremely easy to counter, but it can still be used on defense well. If you do have the inferno dragon, make sure to try out one of these decks!
Best Clash Royale Inferno Dragon Golem Deck
The golem is definitely the best deck to use the inferno dragon with. Back when the poison was still strong, this was one of the decks that could get you to 12 wins in a challenge. Even now, it is still a strong deck. Most of the time you want to use the inferno dragon on defense, but if you can get a strong push going and manage to lock the inferno dragon on the tower, it can do so much damage it will completely take out the tower. Use the other cards for defense, along with defense.
Best Clash Royale Inferno Dragon Giant Deck
The second tank card is the giant, which can still be used well with the inferno dragon. There are no spells in this deck, requiring the fire spirits, minion horde, and princess to clear any defensive cards for the inferno dragon. The mini-P.E.K.K.A. is also great for making it to the tower as he deals massive damage if connecting a shot. Mostly though, you want to set up with a giant followed up with inferno dragon and 2 support cards to clear away the cards your opponent places down.
Best Clash Royale Inferno Dragon Hog Cycle Deck
For this hog cycle deck, the inferno dragon in this deck simply takes the place of the inferno tower. With the cost cut down 1 elixir and a troop can provide damage to the opposing tower, the inferno dragon is a smart move for this deck. The hog is the main damage dealer of this deck with the other units providing support and additional damage to the tower. You can basically push with any of the cards in this deck, just don’t overextend too much.

I am fairly low level, and I don’t have a lot of legendaries. In fact, I only have the lava hound and the inferno dragon on my best account, and nothing on the other accounts. Can you try to make some good decks without any legendaries?

I would try it, but I am doing some really hardcore pushing right now. I switched back to my arena 1 deck and found that it is still better than any lava hound deck.

Definitely don’t use an inferno dragon deck if you are hardcore pushing. Usually the best decks are the simplest!

My deck is the best deck I have ever tried out, because it counters everything somewhat and never gets completely countered. It’s a really balanced deck and thus really stable.
