The mega knight is finally here in Clash Royale, with a release date set for Friday, September 8th. The mega knight is going to be the newest legendary and newest card in Clash Royale, from all the way back to the June update! Here is everything that we know about the mega knight, from strategy to statistics!
Mega Knight Coming Soon in Clash Royale
The mega knight was announced several months ago in June and also immediately everyone was claiming that the mega knight was going to be crazy OP! With every new card release date announcement in Clash Royale, the statistics for the card also become available, so we can check out exactly how good the mega knight is going to be!
Ok, so there are a whole bunch of numbers right there, but what do they mean? Here are the most important statistics and how they compare to other cards (at tournament standard) that are already in Clash Royale.
- Area Damage: A little more than a wizard
- Hitpoints: A less less than a PEKKA
- Hit Speed: Equal to a mini-PEKKA, PEKKA
- Speed: Equal to a knight, barbarians, mega minions, etc.
Based off these statistics, it appears that the mega knight is going to be as OP as every player originally imagined. This is essentially a PEKKA that does splash damage, can jump, and can move a lot faster. I’m not entirely sure how you are supposed to take out the mega knight, especially when he deals so much damage from jumping. Only time will tell, and once the mega knight is actually released in Clash Royale, we will be able to see how powerful this new card actually is.
The mega knight is going to be ridiculously powerful, but I can’t wait until he comes out in Clash Royale! We still have a while to wait, but at least we know that a new card will be coming soon. Thanks a ton for reading and comment down below what your first impressions of the mega knight are!

Honestly! It going to be so OP. Supercell releases these legendary to be so good so people gem them up and then they get nerfed.
