Clash Royale Balance Changes Update June 20th 2018

Balance Changes Nerfs

There was only one real nerf in these balance changes, taking the minions and minion horde down a little bit. There will now be a deployment delay between minions, making it take longer for all of the minions in the card to deploy.

Balance Changes Buffs

Three of the worst cards in Clash Royale finally got a buff, with the clone and heal starting it off with a radius increase. Usually this is the way to go, since any other changes could make it OP. Also, the barbarian barrel will be dealing more damage than the log, being able to take out archers. Hopefully this makes the barbarian barrel an option besides the log.

Balance Changes Reworks

Jump and dash radius were both standardized, as well as the charge distance. This buffs the mega knight, as it is now a half tile shorter to get its jump going. The charge distance change is going to buff the battle ram, but nerf the dark prince and prince. It is good to see all of these standardized, regardless of the effects.

There aren’t that many balance changes in this balancing update, but they definitely made some good changes. I can’t wait to see if the clone and heal become viable after this update. Thanks for reading and comment below your impressions of the balance changes!

  2. Now, I kept clutching the clone when I have it in draft, probably because I got lucky and those like Lava Hound and Skeleton Barrel were in my draft deck as well
