The entire October/Halloween update for Brawl Stars has been announced, bringing a new brawler named Emz, 2 new gamemodes, and five new skins as well. Here’s everything we know about the October 2019 update to Brawl Stars!

Brawl Stars October Update

Mortis’ Mortuary 

The first new “gamemode” coming to Brawl Stars is named Mortis’ Mortuary. This is a map theme for the 3v3 and showdown gamemodes. Obviously, this gamemode is going to be graveyard themed.

Within Mortis’ Mortuary there will be a new gamemode modifier named Graveyard Shift. In Graveyard Shift you will slowly lose health over the game. However, you can regain this health by damaging other brawlers or killing them.

New Brawler: Emz

Shortly after the release of Sandy, a new brawler named Emz will be released into Brawl Stars in the October update. Emz is a social media star zombie that uses hair spray as her main attack.

This hair spray will deal initial damage when it is used but it will also sit on the map for a second which deals extra damage to enemy brawlers.

Emz’s super comes as big area that slowly damages brawlers and also slows them down. The size of the circle is about the same size as Sandy’s super and will follow Emz around.

Emz has no rarity and will be a trophy brawler unlocked at 8,000 trophies

Five New Skins

There will be five new skins coming to Brawl Stars, with 3 as a Brawl-O-Ween theme. Here’s all five of the skins that will be added into the game.

• Piper Calavera
• Dark Knight Jessie
• DJ Frank

Power Play Gamemode

The final bit to the update is a new gamemode called Power Play. You can unlock Power Play once you get your first maxed out brawler, which means it is going to be a high skilled gamemode.

You can only play three matches a day in Power Play. After a month, the players will with most points from wins in Power Play are going to receive star points.
