In the December update, there will be a new Clash Royale special event, the crown duel challenge! This new special event is essentially a draft for cards and the cards you draft will become your deck! It looks pretty awesome; lets go ahead and go over the details!

So on December 15th, this new challenge unlocks, which you can start playing in Friendly Battles!

Then on December 16th, the special event will begin for real. Just like with all special events, the first entry will be free and every entry after will be 5 gems.

So what exactly is this challenge? It is basically like a draft as I said before. Before a battle begins this screen will appear:

From there you pick the card you want, and the other card goes to your opponent. You continue until you have decided 4 cards you get.

Your opponent will decide your other 4 cards as they will be the cards he or she didn’t want.

That’s just the simple basics behind this new special event, but it looks AWESOME! I especially enjoy how you can do it in a friendly battle which is super cool for helping clans. Thanks for reading and start to prepare for the December update to drop sometime tomorrow!
