The newest Clash Royale card, the cannon cart is finally being released throughout Clash Royale through the cannon cart 2v2 draft challenge! If you can get 8 wins, you will unlock 5 cannon carts while if you can get 12 wins, you will unlock 10 more cannon carts. Let’s review the cannon cart, as well as go through how you can win this 2v2 draft challenge!

Cannon Cart Gameplay and Strategy

The cannon cart was announced as part of the June 2017 update in Clash Royale as a 5 elixir epic card, and will be the first of the four cards to be released, with the highly anticipated mega knight still to come! Hopefully, the cannon cart begins the release of these other three cards so that we can see how they work within the meta. Although, you can now unlock the cannon cart through this 2v2 draft challenge, the cannon cart isn’t available throughout all chests until, presumably, August 4th.

Now that we know all about the cannon cart’s background and release date, what exactly IS it? The cannon cart is already in the Supercell universe, part of the Clash of Clans Builder Base. Here’s the speed, DPS, and health of the cannon cart at tournament level and what other card that compares to!

• Speed: Fast (Minions)
• DPS: 169 (Mega Minion)
• Health: 696+Shield HP of 696=1392 (Knight)

We’ve got the stats now, so let’s delve into what the cannon cart is as a card and what will combine well with it in order to succeed in your battles. First off, the cannon cart is the only troop in Clash Royale to become a building once it dies. Originally, the cannon cart is a mobile cannon, moving around on wheels to wherever it wants.

Now, one of the awesome parts about the cannon cart is its shield, working just like the dark prince and guards. However, with this card, once the shield fails, the wheels also fail! So once the shield of the cannon cart has worn away, it will be stuck in place, unable to move from wherever it died, even if it is on your enemy’s side of the arena.

That just about wraps it up for all the details of the newest Clash Royale card, the cannon cart! Let’s go into the details surrounding the challenge which you can unlock it a week early, the 2v2 cannon cart draft challenge!

Cannon Cart 2v2 Draft Challenge

The cannon cart draft challenge will be just like the last few special event challenges: 2v2, draft, with special rewards along the way. The only difference is that you will be able to draft the cannon cart if you choose to! Every team is guaranteed at least one cannon cart to come their way during the draft. Since everything is the same besides the rewards though, let’s cover those!

So the cannon cart 2v2 draft challenge is going to have the same basic rewards as the typical half of a grand challenge. This is extremely nice because your first entry to play will be free! Afterwards, it will cost 100 gems to play. The top prize you can earn if you win 12 games is 11,000 gold and 550 cards. The one time rewards are why you should play though, with incentives at a certain amount of wins as follows!

• 3 wins: 2,500 gold
• 5 wins: 5,000 gold
• 8 wins: 5 cannon carts
• 10 wins: 10,000 gold
• 12 wins: 10 cannon carts

So alll in all, you can end up winning 28,500 gold, 550 cards, and 15 cannon carts, all from one challenge! Of course, you are going to have to win and win often in order to unlock those rewards. However, it is nice that this challenge doesn’t require you to achieve the milestone of 12 wins in order to unlock the new card, instead unlocking it once you hit 8 wins!

Personally, I can’t wait until this challenge starts and we can get out there and try to win some cannon carts. I’m not really sure how strong the cannon cart is going to be as it costs 5 elixir, but time will definitely tell as we head towards the release of the newest Clash Royale card.
