It was said that Brawl Stars was going global in December 2018, and now we finally have the global release date of Brawl Stars, December 12th, 2018. Also, a new update will be coming with the global release, bringing a new brawler named Leon and 3-D environment for all maps!
Brawl Stars December Update
Brawl Stars put out a Brawl Talk a few days ago, discussing the December update and the global release of Brawl Stars. Here’s the Brawl Talk for December 2018.
Let’s talk about some of the most important things that they went over in the update video. First off, let’s talk about the new brawler, Leon. Leon is going to be the newest legendary brawler in Brawl Stars, joining Crow and Spike. Leon is a medium range brawler, who shoots bolts out to hit opponents. The best part about Leon is that he can turn invisible with his Super.
Also, all of the maps have been upgraded to now give a distinct 3-D feel. This is a major change over the largely 2-D maps currently in Brawl Stars and will make the interface look a lot better. Along with this, all of the maps have been made 4 tiles longer!
Artistic changes aren’t just coming to the maps though. A whole bunch of brawlers have been completely redesigned. All of the following brawlers have been revamped in the December update!
- Shelly
- Bull
- Nita
- Barley
- Brock
- Dynamike
The final thing that they touched on in this Brawl Talk is global release. Global release is now confirmed to be December 12th, which is just a few days away! Be ready and pre-registered so you can get a special Shelly skin!
That’s going to be the full update for Brawl Stars in December 2018. I cannot wait for Brawl Stars to go global and see many more people playing it. As for the update, it is a quality one, with the 3-D maps looking amazing. Thanks for reading and comment below your impressions of this Brawl Stars update!

The increase size of maps might actually be a buff for Shelly, Bull and Darryl, considering the 3 shotgunners are out of the meta for a while, this change might be useful for the 3 of them
