New balance changes are here in Clash Royale, with a buff coming to cards like executioner and royal ghost and nerfs coming for PEKKA and dark prince. This balancing update will be released September 2nd, 2019 in Clash Royale, with 6 different nerfs and buffs coming. Here are all the balance changes coming to the September 2019 balancing update to Clash Royale!

As always, nerfs will be listed in red, while buffs are in blue.

• Executioner: Damage +98%, Hitpoints -5%, Range reduced (min 4.5 – max 6.5) > (min 3.5 – max 5), Hit Speed reduced 2.4sec > 2.5sec, Faster Axe return time (1.5 sec > 1.1sec)
• Royal Ghost: Area Damage Radius: 0.8 > 1
• Dark Prince: Area Damage Radius: 1.2 > 1.1
• PEKKA: Range: Long > Medium
• Goblin Cage: Goblin Brawler Speed: Very Fast > Fast
• Fisherman: Elixir Cost: 4 > 3, Damage: -11%

Balance Changes Nerfs

Overall, I think that the Clash Royale team did a great job choosing the cards to be nerfed. PEKKA definitely needed a nerf and received one with a range nerf. The goblin cage was quickly become a powerful card and a lot of that did have to do with the speed of the goblin after the cage was broken. Finally, the last nerf went to the dark prince, who received a slight damage radius nerf.

Balance Changes Buffs

If this hasn’t already popped out at you, the executioner buff is the only thing anyone is going to be talking about. A 98% damage buff is INSANE, and will almost definitely make the card OP. A slight range reduction and hit speed nerf isn’t going to do enough to counter a NINETY EIGHT PERCENT damage buff. In other news, the fisherman also got a nice buff, going to 3 elixir and only losing 11% of his damage. And finally, the royal ghost got a longer damage radius, moving up to 1 tile.

I am scared to death about the executioner buff, but who knows how it might turn out in-game. Besides that massive buff, I think the Clash Royale team did a decent job with these changes. Thanks for reading and comment below what you think about the balancing update!
