Clash Royale had their first real sneak peek to their March 2017 update, and this sneak peek announced 4 new cards coming to Clash Royale! These 4 new cards are the bandit, heal spell, night witch, and bats. Lets go over all of the new cards that we will be seeing in the March 2017 update!

Bandit New Clash Royale Card

The bandit is going to be the first new card released, coming on March 17. We can assume that the update will be dropping the 17th as well based on this! Out of all the new cards, the bandit is the one that is most likely to be OP. She is a 3 elixir legendary card, but we don’t know what arena she will be unlocked in yet. Here are the stats for the bandit:

So based on these stats, we can tell that she is pretty tanky for 3 elixir. The bandit will act sort of like a mini-prince, except that she is immune during her charge, which is why she might be OP. This charge doesn’t do a whole lot of damage though, but it is able to take out dart goblin, princess, and an archer. Can’t wait to try her out on the 17th!

Heal Spell New Clash Royale Card

Another Clash of Clans troop/spell is coming to Clash Royale in the form of the heal spell. The heal spell has been worrisome for a while because it could quite easily become OP. I don’t think that is the case though, based on its stats:

So the heal is a 3 elixir rare spell, which is why it won’t be OP. Instead of being a high cost overpowered spell, the heal is quite small so it will heal a small group of units. 176 heal a second is pretty small, but it will add up over 3 seconds. Should be really fun to see it in action!

Night Witch New Clash Royale Card

Out of all the new cards added, I think that the night witch seems the coolest. It is basically a regular witch, but with a few huge changes! First off, the night witch is single target, which means she can’t splash down minions and goblins. Second, the night witch costs 4 elixir, working kind of like a backwards prince-dark prince. Lastly, the night witch spawns bats instead of skeletons, which we will get to next. Here are the stats for the night witch.

Unfortunately, she is a legendary so she will be tough to get. Still if you do unlock her, the night witch will be great behind any tank!

Bats New Clash Royale Card

So finally, with more of a balance/support card we have bats! Think about bats as skeletons in the air, except there are 5 bats and they cost 2 elixir. Besides that, they have the same health and DPS, check the stats:

This card has been needed for quite a while and I think it is cool that we will see a new unit like skeletons/goblins/minions that can have multiple variations. Pretty excited for this 2 elixir common card!
