The electro dragon is officially in game in Clash Royale, being the newest card added in CR. We now know all the statistics about the electro dragon, including rarity, as well as the release date of the electro dragon!
Electro Dragon Statistics
First off the bat, the electro dragon is going to be an epic card, that, unsurprisingly, is unlocked in Electro Valley, or Arena 11. The electro dragon will cost 5 elixir and function a little bit like a flying electro wizard that has three shots. Here are the full statistics for a tournament standard, level 9 electro dragon.
We know the statistics, but how do these compare with other cards in Clash Royale? Here’s a full read-out of the electro dragon stats, as well as what card that stat most matches up with.
- Damage per Second: 225 (about the same as prince)
- Hitpoints: 831 (a bit more than the bandit)
- Hit Speed: 2.1 seconds (a bit faster than hunter)
- Speed: Medium (same as barbarians, musketeer, hunter, ice wizard)
- Range: 3.5 tiles (same as baby dragon)
Based off these stats, it seems like the electro dragon is going to be pretty strong DPS-wise, but seems very weak in HP for a 5 elixir card. It also fires really slow, which seems a bit surprising. My first thoughts are that the electro dragon is going to be a bit underwhelming when it is first released.

Electro Dragon Release Date
The electro dragon first appeared in Clash Royale, today, October 24th, 2018. When you scroll all the way down to the bottom, where the game mentions coming soon cards. Here it says that the electro dragon will be released in 16 days!
By doing the math, we can figure out that the electro dragon is set to launch in game on November 9th, 2018. There will probably be a special challenge, most likely draft, that you can win the electro dragon through!

For 5 elixir his HP is pretty bad but his other stats are actually fairly decent
I still think he might be slightly underwhelming, but it’s enough to make Sparky trash can on wheels again
