Best Town Hall 8 Base Design

In clan wars, Town Hall 8s are almost definitely going to be three starred by TH9s and TH10s. The key to “winning at war” for TH8s is to make these Town Hall 9s and Town Hall 10s attack them, making them waste an attack on taking out your base. By preventing these TH8s from three starring you, you can turn the tide of the war because there is one less attack now to be used on trying to take out someone good. Here’s the best base to prevent three stars at TH8, “anti-air”!

One of the two most popular attack strategies in Clash of Clans at Town Hall 8 is mass dragons. This base is “baseically” the best you can do for defending against this strategy. The air defenses are all centralized, with archer towers and the clan castle also being included in the core of the base. With the double walls protecting the core, it makes it extremely hard for dragons to path into the middle of the base. Most attacks here are going to end in a one star when attacked by a TH8. The other main attack strategy at TH8, mass hog riders, is also ineffective against this base, mainly because of the defensive circle around the edges of the base, which prevents the hogs from targeting in towards the center. This is the best for defending against all Town Hall 8 war attacks!
