A new update is live in Clash of Clans giving us new war tools to go along with the clan wars anniversary event! These war tools are awesome, including claim your target and support your clan! Let’s go over these new clan war features and talk about this April 2018 Clash of Clans update!

New War Tools Update

Two new war tools were added in this war tools update to Clash of Clans, claim your target and support your clan. Let’s go over both and how you can use them to make your clan wars much better in CoC!

Claim your Target

Claim your target is exactly what it sounds like; the ability to claim who you are attacking and to show other clan members that you will be attacking them. To use this war tool, just click on the base that you are going to be attacking and hit “Claim Target”. This will show your name once the base is clicked on by any other players in your clan.

This is an awesome feature and will be very helpful for coordinating war attacks between your clanmates. Let’s talk about the second war tool that was added in this update, “Support your clan”!

Support your Clan

The name support your clan is very vague, but the feature is kind of like a permanent clan mail that is attached to a particular base. You can write a note about a base and then, once the base is selected by someone else in your clan, they will be able to read what you wrote about that base. This can be helpful for strategy, such as recommendations for what attack to use!
