New Dark Troops in COC?


Here is a few images of new dark troops that could be coming to the game this year. The Spider and the Centaur are among the leading ideas. Here’s an idea of what they would look like.

Most likely, these are just rumors and have no proof behind them. However, more than likely, you can expect a new dark troop to be added, probably in the summer update. The Spider and the Centaur are possibilities, but it could be something completely different. Comment what you think the next dark troop will be below!

  1. town hall 11 is boring and i think it should be replaced with new update and new dark troops should be added to next update like yeti and dark archers because its good and in next update the timings of wizards should be 2 min and dragon must be 10 min . I THINK THIS WILL BE BEST.

  2. i think that u should published a dark troop like wizzard not throwing fireball but throw freeze ball which can freez defence for atleast 3 to 4 sec

  4. The dark archer idea is good..actually it is very good!!!How about the mole?? I like that as well. Alot of good ideas but most of them are op imo. My troop would be a magma archer…shoots blazing arrows has 65hp and deals 70dps level 1 ..at level 6 it has 140hp and deals 280dps housing cost would be 8 and only availabe to th 10 and above..cost would be 400 de at level 6

I want to stop super cell by adding town hall 11 it sucks and I feel like I don’t want to continue my town hall this time unless it looks cool if the game make a better town hall then the trashy looking it will sound great. Please tell super cell about the town hall 11 if you hate town hall 11 with boring decorations.

  6. “the reverse” ..its kind of spell that when used in opponent’s cc troops turns to be our team for 5 secs and 10 secs with max upgrade.

  7. When we type any thinf in coc the cursor never moves for example if we want do a clan chat or a req foe chats the cursor remains in the front of the first words plz see to it and make a fine decision to solve the problem thank u

  8. How about a balloon hero,which is just like any other ballom,except maybe a little stronger,but way higher in hitpoints; that attacks heroes as priority then the defenses!

  9. How about a spell may be named as Slowte. These spell could be troop into the opp red area that would slow down the speed of the opp defensive structure in a small area for few sec.

  10. a minotaur with 650 hit points when its life drops to 50% it unleashes its rage mode where he does 50% more damage according to its level .

  11. I think this might be op, but a dragon hero that has an ability at level 5 to heal nearby dragons and create a not very powerful small ring of rage for dragons only. Then, at level 25, it’s ability also summons a dragon, the number of dragons increase every 5 levels. It should be unlocked at town hall 11, and upgradable to level 5 at th 11, lvl 10 at th 12, 20 at 13, 30 at 14, max at 15. That is a bit slower than the other two heroes, because it is so op.

For a troll troop, they should create a doll like dark elixir troop, it takes 40 space and the equivalent power of a pekka, when it “dies” it splits into two smaller ones, the two make 4, the 4 make 8 and it stops at 16 with extremely minimal damage and hit points, more as a tank/distraction unit, much like the golem. Orrr a wallbreaker carrier called the “keg” which carries 4 wall breakers, the keg takes 12 space, rams into a wall, blows up, releases wall breakers to take the next wall.
    I don’t know, I like the idea of troll troops. OH and if supercell wants to “break” the game, make a new troop that costs gems.

  13. As I read over all the ideas, I noticed quite a few ideas that were very good, and quite a few that were complete trash. This comment is meant to truly bring some light to the subject of “NEW DARK TROOPS”

    What we all must realize, is that Supercell has to be very delicate in its releasing of new entities. Take for example this senario: If, let’s say, this centaur is added to the mix… It has to be of greater power than the lava hound. Why do I say this, you might ask??? Take a look at toe barracks. Each troop has a different use, and that’s why they are released by TH Level. Even if you say dragon is better than P.E.K.K.A, check the stats. P.E.K.K.A’s stats far outrank the dragons. So if the center was released, and other dark troops (for example, this spider, yeti, hydra, etc.) it would officially screw up the whole system… unless it’s done with extreme precision.

    That’s why all these speculations about TH 11 and things of that nature are very much “speculations”. Only about 3% of the COC community is a maxed TH 10, and while a TH 11 would be an ideal moneymaking pitch for Supercell’s hardcore gemmers, it’s just not something they can throw into the game whenever they feel like it.

    So all those who have bias agains Supercell’s lack of new introductions, bear these points in mind.

  14. a new de troop called the de-builder….these will be the maniac builders who sunk in dark elixir…n got mutated…they will be the only troops that go directly to the town hall…. having a pick axe n a hammer…..as fast as goblin ….as healthy as a hog…n skipping walls awesome

  15. I like the idea of a dark troop hero. Costs both a lot of elixir and gold at the same time to build and upgrade. Say, a minion monster? Or a hog master?

  16. Maybe a para-bomber that is simply a wall breaker that can be dropped inside the red area to destroy walls near the center of the village. It would obviously just be more housing spaces, maybe 4.

Soooo, after reading all the above comments and looking what the Supercell team has already proposed over YouTube, I rate that James mentioned a really good thing about the Minotaur being a Dark Elixir Troop. HOWEVER, he should NOT be more powerful than the Pekka (she’s a good troop to stay where she is and to not be succeded- makes the game more interesting).

    Although this seems pretty cool, I saw the concept of a Skeleton King! (The Spider… Not Clash of Clans in my opinion).

    The Skeleton King connects the game very well (as the Witch deploys skeletons but… Where is the connection? Which is why the Skeleton King connects that disjunction). He should be available as a Dark Troop HERO; Unlocked at Town Hall Level 9; costing 30 000 Dark Elixir; His ability could activate twice in his deployment (When He is normal and no ability is activated he hacks at the enemy- nearest target. When His ability is activated, He spins in a wirl-wind of rage which causes minimal damage to multiple targets in a small area- this could last for say 5 seconds). There could be a restriction of maximuim 2 Heros per attack. His healing time could be the same as the Barbarian King and Archer Queen. His ability could be upgraded as He gets upgraded (similar dark elixir consumption as the Archer Queen). He could have similar stength capacity of the Barb King.

    TO ADD MY OWN CREATIVITY AND THOUGHTS TO A NEW DARK TROOP: **connects game well to character because of lava hound.**
    **Birthed in the belly of the earth coming to the surface to reclaim it’s honor, the vicious “Magmotaur” (from the word magma meaing lava) is a treacherous warrior. However they are weak against Tesla Towers. The Inferno Tower has little effect on this warrior.
    -“Magmotaur” is a masculine lava creature and warrior who wields a machete type sword in each hand.
    -When deployed he goes straight for defensive units in a craze of anger.

    UNIT DESCRIPTION:
    Cost- 480 Dark Elixir (Level 1)
    Unlocked- at TH 9
    Attire at Level 1- simple loin cloth
    Upgrade to Level 2- white skirt (similar to barbarian)
    (Skirt changes colour and eventually unit gets a golden helmet and machetes grow in size and start to look meaner_chipped edges etc. as the unit is upgraded)
    Weapons- a machete per hand
    Physical appearance- skin, like lava hound, and barefoot
    Hitpoints- 1000 (upgradable to 3000 or so)
    Damage per second- 90 (Level 1)
    Movement speed- 20
    Housing space- 35
    Training time- 45 min
    Targets- ground (nuclear blast affects surrounding air defense units if any and affects walls)

    **Special: When unit dies he causes a small nuclear blast and causes minimal damage to surrounding opposition in small nuclear blast radius (3 tile radius). Ability upgradable after Level 4.

    I really hope this assists in your efforts in designing a new set of troops!

  18. they should add like a decoration which is a pond/lake and can add more to make it a river. could make a defense like a ship and a dark troop that can go in water and then it turns the water into ice and sprays it add defense towers to freeze them, so kinda like a freeze spell but a troop. it would be called “Iceage” and cost 100de, upgrade to improve health points and freeze duration longer

  19. An idea for the dark hero= a vampire that can turn into a bat and fly for 30 seconds, but has a slow flying speed, and heals nearby dark troops by small amounts

  20. I think a wolf or warewolf or a vampire chick that cost like 60 or 70 dark elixir to train and take like 20s to train and kills enemies instantly would be awsome

  21. I think they should make a creature that would dig the hole and attack enemy defence…this will be one of the best creatures if supercell implement this idea

    • I think that they need to do some sort of way you can test your own base even as pure practice for you to become a better attacker along with get the hang of your new base ideas

  22. Whatever Supercell do, it will have to serve a purpose, we only have one ‘loot’ troop, the goblin, and one healing troops, another loot troop would be nice. However ive come up with a couple of ideas, firstly the final ‘big’ DE troop could be a Minotaur, half human, half bull with a big axe, and do slightly more damage than a Pekka. Secondly and my number one choice would be a Meduca like creature that could turn defences to stone briefly, kind of like a freeze spell, but within a single troop.. Also if they made another Hero I would think that limiting the gamer to only taking 2 out of 3 or 4 Heroes to war at any one time, just so it can’t be too easy..

  23. Pretty cool ideas but need to know wt the supercell thinking. There r still 4 slots remained and troop having speed and target having none but can be trained fast and cheap and powerful is a good points for some new troops can be come in new updates.

  24. A dark elixir snake that has 150 hit points and does 90 damage for second and has a baby snake that is twice as little it does half of the damage and has half of the health. This troop is worth 25 dark elixir.

  25. I think like a dark troop that digs and costs 40,000 dark elixir to max upgrade and a defense that damages him and the digger is called ” a digger ” cost 5000 dark elixir train 1 hour dps 3000 hp 4000 and the defense is 500 dps….. And a dark hog Duke and valkrie duchess great ideas!

  26. Maybe a ship that fires a fiery catapult ever 20 seconds? It can hit anywhere, can’t be destroyed by the villiage it’s attacking but takes up an obscene amount of space, like 80
