Welcome to the fourteenth base of our weekly Clash of Clans series, featuring the best base design layouts for the home village and Builder Base. Today, our featured base layout is a TH8 design, that can help you protect your resources in the home village! This base is the best to use for Town Hall 8 for farming! Welcome back to our Sunday series, and I hope you guys enjoy the base designs!
Best Town Hall 8 Base Design
Once you upgrade to Town Hall 8, some of the upgrades start to get quite expensive. That means you need to be able to protect your gold and elixir (this base is NOT good for DE farming) in order to complete maxing out TH8. With barch being the most popular farming strategy at TH8, we built a great base that could shut down barch while keeping your resources safe. Here’s the best Town Hall 8 base layout for March 2018 in Clash of Clans!

As you can tell by the base design, this base really has centered storages. All six of your gold and elixir storages are right in the core of your base, surrounding the Town Hall. As mentioned above, with barch being the number one attack strategy for farming, we have our mortars right in the center of the base, making it tough to barch the outside or the core of this base design. Some of the collectors can be within the first layer of walls too. Again, this is not the base to use if you want to farm up some dark elixir. This is the best Town Hall 8 base for farming up gold and elixir in CoC!
That’s all for our fourteenth weekly installment of daily base designs. I hope that all of you TH8s out there can use this base to wide success, allowing you to farm up your upgrades a bit easier! If you want to see a base design for your BH or TH level, comment below which. Thanks for reading and come back soon for more Clash of Clans!
