A brand new spell will be coming to Clash of Clans in the December 2018 update. This new spell is the bat spell, which works a whole lot like the skeleton spell, only that it spawns bats instead. This is the first new spell added to Clash of Clans in over 2 years!

New Bat Spell

First off, we need to watch the video which highlights the newest spell in Clash of Clans, showing off exactly how it works and strategies to use it in!

Based on the very beginning of the video, it appears as if the bat spell will be unlocked through the dark spell factory. Clash of Clans also said that the bat spell will be available at Town Hall 10, which means it will be 5th dark spell unlocked in Clash of Clans.

As I said before, the bat spell looks like it is going to work almost exactly like the skeleton spell, except that it spawns bats. If you don’t play Clash Royale, bats are an extremely weak, though somewhat powerful, cheap unit that can fly and will probably be one-hit by every defense in Clash of Clans.

It is definitely great to see a new spell coming to Clash of Clans, though with the up and downs of the skeleton spell, I’m not sure if the bat spell is the best idea.
