The first real Clash Royale update will be coming soon, presumably when Clash Royale goes global. Instead of just balance chances this time, new troops, new chests, and a new arena will be coming to the Clash Royale! Here’s a glimpse of what the update entails.

New Clash Royale Troops

Here are a list of all the new Clash Royale troops along with a short description.

Poison Spell- Poison deals damage over time, while slowing troop movement and attack speed. It smells nasty, too.

Ice Wizard- This chill caster hails from the far North. He shoots ice shards at enemies, slowing down their movement and attack speed.

Royal Giant- Sighting his massive cannon at enemy buildings, the Royal Giant comes in like a wrecking ball.

Princess- Shoots a volley of flaming arrows halfway across the Arena. The Princess is afraid of germs, so keep the rabble away from her!

Dark Prince- Dealing area damage with each swing and double after charging, the Dark Prince is a formidable fighter. To harm his squishy core, break his shield first.

Three Musketeers- One musketeer is hard enough to beat, now try 3 of them at the same time! Onward my friends!

New Clash Royale Chests

There are going to be 2 new chests added to the game. The first of these is the giant chest, which holds lots of commons and rares, yet few epics. The giant chest can also be won in battle, yet it very rarely ever comes up, taking 12 hours to unlock. The next chest is the super magical chest which has a high chance of containing a legendary card, the newest card type. It should take 24 hours to unlock, after a battle.

New Clash Royale Arena

This new arena will be called the Builder’s Workshop and will be between Spell Valley and Royal Arena. I imagine that the Builder’s Workshop will start at 1700, and Royal Arena will be moved to 2000. The new troops will most likely be offered here, with 1 common, 1 rare, and 1 epic.
