The giant builder hut is the next part of the Clash of Clans Clashiversary August update and it is a massive new feature! Builder huts will now have giants inside of them that will pop out to defend the village once destroyed. Since the new builder huts act like a clan castle, there is new base design you should learn and new strategy for these giant builder huts!

Giant Builder Hut Base Design

Since you now have basically new clan castle defenders, you want to end up putting your giant builder huts in the core of your base. This way, if your enemy troops end up breaching the center of the base, you’ll be able to still have some defensive troops remaining. Builder huts only take up a 2×2 space, making them prime for filling small spots left in your base. Here’s an ideal core base design, featuring the 5 giant builder huts!

Of course, the giants that spawn out of the giant builder huts aren’t that strong, so you can also use them to protect your outside collectors and mines from farmers. Just mix in builder huts within your resource collectors.

One final base design you can do with these giant builder huts is to build a completely troll base! A lot of players put their builder huts in the corners of their base because players often forget about clearing them. If a player is on the lookout for builder huts placed in the corner, they will have to take out a defending giant in order to actually gain those few percentage points!

After all we have said about the new giant builder hut before in the article, you should know to not and try to go after it as free percentage points. However, we can give you a few tips on how to best beat these giant builder huts!

• The giant doesn’t emerge from the hut until the builder hut is destroyed
• This giant is VERY weak, being able to be taken out by 4 barbarians
• If the huts are in the center of the base, make sure support units are there to clean up the giants
• The giant builder huts do not affect all air decks
• These new huts will last until August 18th
